Difficulty level: Basic

Technique

  1. Kneel on the floor.
  2. Bring your toes together and lower your heels outwards and apart.
  3. Sit on the upwards facing insides of your feet, with your heels touching your hips.
  4. Place your hands, palm down on your thighs.
  5. Keep your ears in-line with your shoulders and your hips, keeping your back straight.
  6. Relax your arms and focus on your breathing and hold the pose for as long as possible.

  • Breathe slowly and rhythmically.
